Sony DSC HX1 is one of the stunning models released this year and is being tested with their new features such as bigger zooms, better video and fast burst modes. The HX1 is Sony's entry with a 20X lens which extends from 28mm at the wide end all the way to 560mm at the telephoto end, HD video recording, a huge 3" tilting LCD screen, up to 10 frames per second continuous shooting speeds, and special shooting modes that help you get better pictures easier. All this built around an all-new CMOS sensor.

Sony HX1 also features a "Sweep Panorama" technology. Sweep Panorama allows for a maximum of 224-degree horizontal photos or 154-degree vertical photos. The Sony Cyber-shot HX1 compact digital camera seamlessly stitches together a high-speed burst of frames to create an extra-wide, high resolution image.

Hi Ms/Mr Camera Fanatic. Thank you so much for the comment. You have a good taste in selecting your camera but lately last April 18, I just bought a camera DSC W130 by Sony. For me, all the features of W130 fits my criteria.

HX1 has a CMOS Sensor and not a CCD. its because of that sensor, its able to get a 10fps continuous shooting as well as the panorama feature
