The new waterproof digital camera were launched by Pentax yesterday August 5. The Pentax Imaging Company announced their newly camera in-lined in waterproof category the Optio WS80. The water and dustproof digital camera is designed for his-and-her's. So it means the camera differs the gender of the owner.
Featuring a 10 megapixel CCD and a 5X internal optical zoom housed in a slim, palm-sized body that is less than an inch thick is perfect for outdoor activities. The Optio WS80 has a wide LCD display of 2.7-inch with 230,000 dot resolution for easy composition. The Optio WS80 can captures underwater photos and video including high resolution, widescreen, HD video up to 720p at a full-speed 30 frames per second through with its waterproof construction that can withstand depths up to five feet (1.5 meters).
Shipment of the latest Optio WS80 camera is on September for $249.95 USD. The two eye-catching color options, black with orange accents or white with purple accents is now available.
